Club Biography

The Blackforge Wargames Club was originaly created on the first of April in 2009. The club founder who is also the webmaster of this website is me, Anthony Soto, or Brother Captain Soto. I have been playing Warhammer 40K since i would say late 2006. After i finished my tour of service in the Marine Corps in june of 2008, i came home to Bradford Massachusetts to find that there were no warhammer 40k clubs in the area (at least that i could find on the internet) and only 1 shop in the area that even sells Games Workshop products, Toy Soldier Games and Comics out of Amesbury. So after several months of trying to get my friends and family into the hobby (so i wouldn't have to travel far to play) i decided it was time to make a public wargames club that is local to Bradford. Now here we are.
